Cinta Vidal Agulló (Barcelona, 1982) developed an early passion for art, beginning her artistic journey in childhood. At 16, she started working at the Castells y Planas Scenography Workshop in Santa Agnés de Malanyanes, where she learned large-scale painting and mural techniques, contributing to projects for operas and theaters worldwide.

She pursued her studies in illustration at Escuela Massana in Barcelona. In 2015, she presented her first solo exhibition at the Miscelánea gallery in Barcelona, marking the beginning of her exclusive focus on her own work. Since then, Vidal has showcased her art in exhibitions and fairs across major cities, including London, Miami, New York, Hawaii, Atlanta, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Her collaborations include working with art galleries such as Spoke Art Gallery (San Francisco), Arts Project Gallery (Hong Kong), Long Beach Museum (Los Angeles), and Beinart Gallery (Australia). At Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles, she has exhibited numerous works, with her latest collaboration being the “COHABIT” exhibition, held as a Pop-Up in downtown Manhattan, NYC, in October. Her last show ‘MELT’ combined murals and paintings at Galerie Zink, Germany.

Vidal has also created murals internationally, painting in countries such as China, Japan, Hawaii, and the United States. Last year, she completed five murals across Europe in Portugal, Italy, Germany, and Denmark. Her art has been featured in a variety of mediums, from newspaper articles and book covers to children’s books, puzzles, and cultural dance centers. Recently, the British new wave band Tears for Fears used one of her works for their latest album cover in 2022.

Her unique style, characterized by the weightlessness of elements and challenges to the laws of perspective, has become her signature. Vidal explains her artistic vision: “We live within spaces from our unique perspectives, which may have little in common with the views of others. By multiplying gravity, I can express the many possible perceptions of our environment. Everyday life may contain familiar elements but also endless depths. I am always surprised by humanity’s capacity to navigate uncertainty with calmness and a certain indifference.”
