Brian Britigan is a Minneapolis-based artist, illustrator, and animator. Whether created for publications or gallery shows, his images combine bold colors and compositions with a detail-driven approach. Born and raised in Iowa City, IA, Brian studied art and animation at the University of Washington in Seattle before earning his MFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. His work has been featured by The New York Times, POLITICO Europe, and The Progressive, and has received recognition from the Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, 3×3, Spectrum, Latin American Ilustración, and the International Motion Art Awards.
