Jamie Perry is a full time visual artist that lives and works in Parker, Colorado. Perry’s minimal, yet striking imagery are the foundations of his work. Though his paintings often have a cinematic, narrative feeling, he strives to create a story using as few details as possible, sometimes stripping down the painting to an almost composite abstraction and then using light, space and atmosphere to build it back up. Perry’s works are pictorial reflections of images and experiences where viewers can be transcended to a time and place where life is simple and unobstructed.
